Positive self-talk matters. If you are looking to create improvement in your athletic performance you need to clearly establish your goals.
When you have negative self-talk it impacts your experience with your training. You’re actually programming your mind to resist the change that you’re looking to create. It is very important that when you are training not to use words like “can’t, tired, hard, bored, and no”. If you do use those words your planting seeds in your mind that will create resistance to your change.
